This article provides an overview of the new features, improvements, and on-premises scanner updates in the Fortanix Key Insight 27.0 release.
1.0 New Features
Added support for Azure Certificates in Fortanix Key Insight to provide to provide a unified view that maps Azure Key Vault (AKV) certificates to their corresponding private keys and extracts certificate metadata, including certificate algorithms, TLS versions, and cipher suites, to assess Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) readiness (JIRA: KI-2736).
Users can now:
Access the Certificates section from the left navigation panel after onboarding an Azure connection.
View the certificate details and violations in the Overview and Assessment pages.
View the certificate information, including the certificate properties and violations.
Export the certificate data in Comma Separated Values (CSV) format for external analysis or reporting.
View the Group by: Certificates option for Azure connections in the PQC Central dashboard, allowing users to access and analyze Azure certificate PQC data.

Fortanix Key Insight is now available for on-premises deployment on Microsoft Azure, enabling you to run it within your own infrastructure (JIRA: KI-4402).
The following are the user interface (UI) updates for Fortanix Key Insight on-premises deployments:
Removed the Region field from the Solutions page when accessing Fortanix Key Insight.
Removed region labels and references from the onboarding workflow and dashboards in the Fortanix Key Insight on-premises UI.

Added RBI-SEBI compliance frameworks to the Policy Center to help financial organizations enforce, monitor, and report on Indian financial data security standards (JIRA: KI-4860).

Deleting a cloud connection in Fortanix Key Insight does not remove the corresponding group in Fortanix Armor IAM (JIRA: PLAT-6291).
2.0 Improvements
Updated the External Key Source connection on the Post Quantum Cryptography (PQC) Central dashboard to reflect Fortanix DSM (On-premises) PQC data (JIRA: KI-4975).

Updated the AWS connection Overview page to include Failed, Inactive, Validation Timed Out, Revoked, and Unknown statuses in the Certificates by Status section (JIRA: KI-2736).
3.0 On-premises Scanner Updates
Fortanix On-premises Scanner configuration file now allows the
regionfield to be optional for Fortanix Key Insight On-premises deployments to simplify local configuration and deployment architecture (JIRA: KI-4402).For more information, refer to On-premises Scanner Configuration File.
