This article provides an overview of new features and improvements in the Fortanix Key Insight 25.03 release.
1.0 New Features
Fortanix Key Insight now allows account administrators to add key ownership details for cloud, on-premises, and external key source connections, thereby improving key management, enhancing tracking, and streamlining remediation workflows (JIRA: KI-1060).
As an account administrator, on the Keys page,
You can add primary and secondary owners for selected key(s) using the ADD DETAILS option by providing either the name or employee ID and email address.
You can update existing key details for the selected key(s) using the EDIT DETAILS option, either on the key details page or from the keys list.

2.0 Improvements
Enhanced the AWS cloud connection scanning by retrieving the last rotation date for AWS Key Management Service (KMS) keys (JIRA: KI-2175).
The AWS scan permissions are now updated to include the
ListKeyRotationspermission for each AWS key.The AWS keys list and details pages now display the NEXT ROTATION DATE and LAST ROTATION DATE for each AWS key.
