This article provides an overview of new features and improvements in the Fortanix Confidential Computing Manager (CCM) SaaS 4.10 release.
1. New Features
Added support for the Intel Trust Domain Extensions (TDX) platform:
Support for creating Fortanix CCM applications (app), images, and workflows for Intel TDX environments.
For more information, refer to the following guides:
Enabled Intel TDX app sharing in workflows where the app can be run in the workflow owner's account.
For more information, refer to Collaborating Groups and Shared Workflow - Intel TDX Applications.
2. Improvements
Removed support for Fortanix SGX node agent versions earlier than 4.9. Starting with Fortanix CCM 4.10, node enrollment requires node agent version 4.9 or later. Older versions are not supported and enrollment will fail.
3. Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue in Azure Confidential Virtual Machine (CVM) environments where application certificate issuance could fail due to Microsoft Azure Attestation (MAA) validation errors.
4. Limitations
Fortanix has a fair usage policy in this Early Customer Access Program. Hence, Fortanix has limited the resources one can create per account. Therefore, it is expected to observe a resource creation failure message once you have reached the maximum limit.
