This article provides an overview of the new features and on-premises scanner updates in the Fortanix Key Insight 25.11 release.
1.0 New Features
Added proxy support in the Fortanix On-premises Scanner, allowing secure outbound connectivity through enterprise proxies in environments with restricted internet or API access (JIRA: KI-3542).
For more information, refer to On-premises Scanner Configuration File.Added support for configuring a secure and flexible API Gateway using Kong, integrated with Identity Providers (IdPs) such as Auth0 and Okta. This enables seamless, token-based communication with AWS services, while ensuring secure authentication, authorization, and interoperability for both machine-to-machine and user-based access flows (JIRA: KI-2016).
Users can now,
Configure and add an IdP using the Client credentials flow during AWS connection onboarding.
Configure an API Gateway when adding an IdP configuration using the Client credentials flow.

2.0 On-premises Scanner Updates
The Fortanix On-premises Scanner configuration file now supports configurable proxy settings with authentication for connecting to the Fortanix Armor platform and source code repositories (JIRA: KI-3542).
