This article provides an overview of the new features and on-premises scanner updates in the Fortanix Key Insight 25.11 release.

1.0 New Features

• Added proxy support in the Fortanix On-premises Scanner, allowing secure outbound connectivity through enterprise proxies in environments with restricted internet or API access (JIRA: KI-3542).
  For more information, refer to On-premises Scanner Configuration File.

• Added support for configuring a secure and flexible API Gateway using Kong, integrated with Identity Providers (IdPs) such as Auth0 and Okta. This enables seamless, token-based communication with AWS services, while ensuring secure authentication, authorization, and interoperability for both machine-to-machine and user-based access flows (JIRA: KI-2016).

  Users can now,

  • Configure and add an IdP using the Client credentials flow during AWS connection onboarding.

    

  • Configure an API Gateway when adding an IdP configuration using the Client credentials flow.

2.0 On-premises Scanner Updates

• The Fortanix On-premises Scanner configuration file now supports configurable proxy settings with authentication for connecting to the Fortanix Armor platform and source code repositories (JIRA: KI-3542).
