# Filesystem Encryption for Couchbase Using Fortanix DSM

This article describes how to perform **Filesystem Encryption (FSE) on a Couchbase cluster** using Fortanix-Data-Security-Manager **(DSM)**. The article provides instructions for enabling FSE while ensuring full transparency to the Couchbase cluster.
