This article provides an overview of various new features and general improvements in the Fortanix Confidential Computing Manager (CCM) 5.0 release.
1. New features
Fortanix CCM SaaS is now available as a new solution within the Fortanix Armor SaaS platform. CCM customers can now manage their accounts, users, and groups using Fortanix Armor Identity and Access Management (IAM) Solution.

2. Improvements
Added an
errorfield to the Fortanix CCM Task Status API response to provide detailed error information for failed tasks.Added automated pre-installation validation for Fortanix Node Agent deployments on Intel TDX compute nodes to verify required platform prerequisites before installation and provide clear error messages with remediation guidance for any detected issues.
Improved the CCM workflow creation experience by displaying an error message in the user interface (UI) when the maximum supported limit of 10 approved workflow versions is reached.
Updated the CCM Workflow application details to display the Application configuration ID as the primary label, with the Runtime configuration hash available as a tooltip for additional context.

Download the latest Fortanix Attestation Client from here.
4. Limitations
Fortanix has a fair usage policy in this Early Customer Access Program. Hence, Fortanix has limited the resources one can create per account. Therefore, it is expected to observe a resource creation failure message once you have reached the maximum limit.
