This article provides an overview of new features, general improvements, and resolved issues in the Fortanix Key Insight 3.6 release.
1. New Features
Fortanix Key Insight now supports the deletion of cloud connections and their associated details (JIRA: KI-861).
When you delete a cloud connection, any related scanned data and assessment data will also be deleted.

Customers can now federate an AWS or Azure cloud account with other identity providers using the new Federated Authentication feature (JIRA: KI-865).

Now, you have the option to set up Federated Authentication as an additional authentication method during AWS and Azure cloud connection setup.
You can manage the federated authentication identity provider (IdP) configurations on the Authentication page.

Customers can now see the total number of unused keys in the Amazon Web Service (AWS) and Azure assessment reports (JIRA: KI-864).
When you click the Unused keys count in the AWS or Azure assessment report, you will be redirected to the Keys list page, where filters will be automatically applied to display only unused keys in the list.

Customers can now see the details of overly permissive usage and management keys for an AWS cloud connection (JIRA: KI-859).
Added Overly permissive keys [Usage] and Overly permissive keys [Management] count in the Top Security Issues section of the AWS assessment report. When you click them, you will be redirected to the Keys list page, where filters will be automatically applied to display only overly permissive keys in the list.
On the Keys graph, the new Vulnerability type Overly permissive keys is added. Using this, you can filter the keys that have overly permissions vulnerability.

Customers can now see the Armor account details on Fortanix Armor (JIRA: PLAT-3347).
In the Account Details section, you can view the account ID, creation date, and creation time.

Customers can now switch views on the Fortanix Armor Accounts page (JIRA: PLAT-3346).
On the Accounts page, you can now switch between the account list and card views for better visibility and user interface.

2. Enhancements to Existing Features
Customers can now see additional details about the keys in the Keys list view for AWS and Azure cloud connections (JIRA: KI-854).

The encryption details are now displayed appropriately for AWS RDS Instance, S3 Bucket, and EBS services (JIRA: KI-397).

In the Azure cloud connection Keys and Services list view, the filter order now aligns with the sequence of columns (JIRA: KI-583).
3. Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where users could edit and save an AWS cloud connection with an invalid AWS access key (JIRA: KI-898).
