[3.27] - March 13, 2023

This article provides an overview of improvements and bug fixes in the Fortanix Confidential Computing Manager (CCM) 3.27 release.

Prerequisites

• A container registry account to push the converted application container Image(s).

• A subscription account on Azure Portal to create Compute Node/s.

Improvements

• Enclave OS:

  • The support is added for /proc/pid/stat and /proc/self/stat directories.

• CCM SaaS:

  • The attestation_type filter is added to GET /v1/nodes API.

  • The node limit is now increased to 100 in an account.

Bug Fixes

• Enclave OS:

  • Fixed the docker build failures in the AWS Nitro converter when the input image has environment variables with spaces and/or some special characters in its value.

  • The AWS Nitro enclave application resolves the docker container hostnames.

Limitations

Fortanix has a fair usage policy in this Early Customer Access Program. Hence, Fortanix has limited the resources one can create per account. Therefore, it is expected to observe a resource creation failure message once you have reached the max limit.
