1. Overview
This article provides an overview of improvements in the Fortanix Armor 27.0 Patch 4 release.

2. Improvements
Extended the grace period for TCB level 22 through October 31, 2026. During the grace period, nodes with TCB level 21 can continue to join systems running Fortanix Armor and enroll in Fortanix CCM (JIRA: PLAT-6741).
NOTE
Existing Armor on-premises deployments must complete the Cassandra inter-node TLS certificate renewal procedure if they are upgraded from Armor 27.0 Patch 2 or earlier, or if the procedure was not completed when upgrading to Armor 27.0 Patch 3. If the procedure was already completed when upgrading to Armor 27.0 Patch 3, it does not need to be repeated. For details, refer to Manually Renew Cassandra Inter-node TLS CA and Leaf Certificates. This procedure is not required for fresh installations.
